A Café de Flora chef plating a dish in the kitchen

Notre histoire

A café built around the table

How a love of Paris cafés became three rooms full of flowers in Delhi and Gurugram.

A note from us

Café de Flora started with a picture in our heads: a small Paris café with flowers spilling out of the door, and guests who stayed long after the coffee was finished.

We built that room here and filled the menu with food we love to eat. French mornings, Italian lunches, and a few Indian flavours that found their way in, like kokum and curry leaf in our coolers.

How we work

Simple food, made with care

We keep the menu honest. Pasta is made by hand, pizza goes into a very hot oven, and every coffee is pulled to order at the espresso bar.

Plates come out on our own crest china, in rooms filled with flowers.

Service matters as much as the food. We want the first cup and the last bite to feel equally looked after.

Our promise

Good coffee, a warm welcome and a table you never feel rushed to leave.

What we value

What we care about

Four things guide every plate we serve and every guest we welcome.

i.

Good coffee

Carefully chosen beans, ground and brewed fresh at our espresso bar.

ii.

Honest food

Dishes cooked to order, from eggs on sourdough to classic tiramisu.

iii.

Care

In the kitchen, at the table, and in every box that leaves for home.

iv.

Hospitality

A warm hello, a good table and the time to enjoy it.

Paris, in Delhi

A corner of Paris close to home

The watercolour on our menu cover is how we picture the café: a striped awning, flowers in every box and a table waiting outside.
